Halima's Circlet, made by Asa Martel
Halima is very proud of her circlet. It was commissioned by HL Reann and created by HL Asa, and was given to her in Court at Mermaid's Tourney in False Isle, 2004. Asa made the presentation, and his words touched the hearts of many who heard them; both he and Halima seemed to have trouble with their voices...
Notes: Asa created the circlet; the front crescents stand forward to dance at every movement. Halima added the silk cord, tassel, and hand-made glass bead. The circlet is well-fitted so that tying is not needed; the cord and bead hang freely.
