Fee is upped to $4 from $2 in an attempt to break even
We are providing meat and bread
Warm up the Winter" - Jamie to provide points for Linda to include in event copy.
Linda to advertise in free community announcements.
Bake bread on-site (frozen dough available) to aid ambiance
Mulled wine? Mulled apple cider?
Fake fire pit? Especially for bardic
Reann, if avail., will do signage, Gold Key, and Gate with Rhys; he agrees. (see appendices)

Discussion on themes; Linda insists that Arab/Norse/Pirate requires more time, more people, and more research. Current them: Midwinter!

Death by Chocolate/Caramel
confirmed for Dec 10, Wednesday; will be last scheduled meeting until Jan 7/04. Must invite Woolgatherers members.

Demos for Woolgatherers
Rapier demo must be outside for this building. Weekends would give more people available. Monday in April? as a second choice (weather, daylight, "busy time").

Cragmere Badge
Idea has been put forward by Linda to Annie; Annie checked it and it seems a go. (See appendices) All have agreed to proceed.

New Business

Rental of Woolgatherers
They have been approached by Linda regarding lump sum payment instead of monthly; if they agree (Jan meeting?), we will hold a fund-raiser for it; Colette has agreed (privately with Linda) to participate.

Dance
Halima threatens dance at Wednesday meetings, teaching one English Country Dance each time. Preparatory for teaching at Comox Rec, which is a potential newcomer source.

Newsletter
Reann requires that all Cragmerians contribute a memory to the next issue of the Piper. (see appendices)

Adjournment at 8:15 p.m.

Appendices

26 Nov. 2003

I apoligize for not being able to attend the meeting. Would someone please take notes and pass them along to me.
For the event in January, I can do: signs, gold key, games, gate(with help of Rhys) bardic etc......
The only possible problem is if I get a book to index that is really tough, then I would have to limit my involvement to one day(8am - 11 pm.).
I like the idea of a "bring your first garb" contest.

Many thanks to Linda for putting together issue #49 of the Piper. Hugs and kisses to the contributors. The next issue is an important one, issue # 50 - a milestone. The theme will be "Cragmere remembered" and we will celebrate the best of our accomplishments, our victories, our special moments and our disasters.
So start your article with "I remember when "
Keep in mind that I will not be accepting 'no' as an answer.
