Subject: April Council Notes
Cragmere Council - April 6, 2005
Attended by Rhys, Ulrich, Kjartin, Zoe, Thomas, Meridith, Juye, Asa, Rachanda, Barb & Deb.
7:30 meeting was called to order by Kjartin
Meridith introduced Barb and Deb, potential new members.
Reminder - Officer's Reports are due April 15th.
Rachanda received a Thank You note for the patch of Cragmere's badge for the Princess's Investiture gown.
Exchequer - Halima reports we have just under $1,000. She'd like to see more. She needs reimbursement for photocopies and supplies.
Kjartin donated an Everything Box, Rhys offered to clean and paint it. A suggestion on Celtic knotwork and Shire Device was made.
Upper Island Event - June 18, 19, 2005
Meridith turns over the organizing of the fighter's times to Asa. Asa is working on a prize for Rapier fighters.
Mermaid's Tourney - July 8, 9, 10 - must pre-register.
Zoe announced that her home has sold - will be leaving this summer for the mainland. : (
Morel reported that we still don't know whether our badge has passed - should hear soon.
HL Cinara, Kingdom A&S Champion has graciously offered to be a guest teacher in Cragmere.
She has asked for funds to offset her travel costs. She plans to bring 2 laurels with her.
**It was suggested that October's Ithra would be a better venue; we would have time to fund raise for costs.
Zoe offered a Silk Challenge. She offered sample-sized pieces of silk to any who asked and told what they might make from it. Zoe hopes to see the finished results some day.
Arts and Sciences dates and classes were chosen.
Seaside Tourney Zoe will be offering Portrait Photography at $10 per mini-session.
