Officer Reports

Exchequer: noted that quarterly reports are now 16 pages long; $1052 in CU
MoS: rapier practice scheduled with Hartwood; Morel and Charles are both authorized
A&S: Zoe noted that Cheridy is expected to take over; she will need assistance, so "arts council" is revived; need to meet to note who holds what skills.
Chronicler: Ivy (Miranda) not available; Linda noted that Nik and Jamie have submitted articles
Herald: Morel notes that Ivy's name may be a problem; will conflict-check.
: will check on Aleyn Wychington as an 1100's name.
: Kingdom Scribe is looking for charters to paint, and charters.
Seneschal: "Hand in your reports!"

Ithra: Linda is contact (Tina has not been to meetings); Annie and Jamie to co-steward revel.

: class ideas
Jamie/Uilleam - make simple boxes and decorate
Morel - looking for weapons-construction
Paul - will to teach jewelry work in his shop; max 2 or 3 people
Charles - willing to teach calligraphy/scroll design/etc.
: Need requests for day-long classes; requirement of Brenethwyn and U of I that each of the classes must be visited by the Chancellor, and this session is scattered. Session can run 1 or 2 days. Need class proposals handed in.

Hall to be booked; Lions' Den? In favour.
"Autumn Supper" - simple feast vs. potluck w. staples? Simple wins.
Budget to next council.
Charles doing invitation to B/Bns Seagirt.

Awards noted! Aleyn and Anicia received gouttes at SeaLion War; Kjartan's jambe was a poorly-kept secret.

Daycamp at Armed Forces Base, Aug 26, 9am-4pm.
: Archery, boffer, Fight demo. Paul recruited Jamie and Nik to help w demo; noted that new boffer rules are in effect for use, but old rules may be used at the discretion of the branches MoS; marshall warrants have all been revoked but for Magnus.
: Linda will lead some dance on the Thursday before, on Aug 25.

: Linda will update the flyers with contact info and photos; Paul may have photos for same.
