December 6, 2006
Present: Colette, Stuart, Jamie, Kirk, Kathy, Paul, Cheridy, Nik, Linda
Came to order at 7:40 p.m.
1. Discussion on Dec 2/06 event: lost approx $100 (weather?); consider potluck for next year, or maybe another weekend; consider two prize levels (one for jambe/laurel level that includes documentation requirement, one for newer and novice levels), and possibly adjust the categories; the $50 gift certificate brought considerable interest, but not the expected participation.
2. Discussion on Mongolian event: Stuart did not give a date yet; dates of April 7 and 28 suggested; discussion on halls (Grantham being $125)
3. Further Mongolian discussion: Anu (and Bruce) offer a 2-day cooking workshop that includes "noodles" and "what to do with noodles"; date to come.
4. Discussion on Armada 2007: Cheridy will check on Armada date and locations; consider advertising the fun of swimming in a chemise, "wet chemise contest"
5. Discussion on Christmas/Crafters event: Consensus on "do it again".
